But I think the best way to answer this question is to say that the actual limit is more than the number of sections that &lt;EM&gt;should&lt;/EM&gt; be added to any single story. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As a best practice, stories should generally be designed as shorter pieces of content rather than long, extended compendiums to help provide a better experience for your readers. If you have a story that grows into something that feels longer than something you'd want to read, it's probably is too long for others.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One popular technique to break up a longer narrative into smaller pieces is to create several stories that serve as chapters in the larger story, and then bring them together into a &lt;A href="https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-storymaps/sharing-collaboration/start-your-first-arcgis-storymaps-collection/" target="_self"&gt;collection&lt;/A&gt;.
