idea timeline: dynamic today event in ArcGIS StoryMaps Ideas

if the timeline starts in the past and ends in the future (e.g. a list of events such as football games of one season), a dynamic "today" event helped the viewer to know where in the timeline he/she currently is. I imagine the following basic principle: you define a number of events using dates (1.1.2021 - 1.6.2021 - 1.9.2021 - 1.12.2021) and one event of the option "today". this event would automatically be in the right place:

viewer opens the storymap on 15.5.2021: 1.1.2021 - today - 1.6.2021 - 1.9.2021 - 1.12.2021

viewer opens the storymap on 1.8.2021: 1.1.2021 - 1.6.2021 - today - 1.9.2021 - 1.12.2021

viewer opens the storymap on 1.9.2021: 1.1.2021 - 1.6.2021 - today: 1.9.2021 - 1.12.2021

additionally there should be the option to slightly grey out the events of the past. this could be combined with the "today" field or independently from it (so there is no field "today" just the greyed out events and the regular events).
