idea Timeline Format for Map Tours in ArcGIS StoryMaps Ideas

Hello!

It would be really neat to have a timeline format available for the Map Tour. You can probably get close with the List format - but having the ability to selet a timeline layout and tie it to the map would add a neat option for readers and formating content.

The other pro with using a timeline layout option instead of the List or Grid, is that you could add content into a list-type format without requiring an image. Currently, if you don't add an image to the List or Grid, there is just a blank gray square as a placeholder. But having a timeline format that functions like a Map Tour would be helpful for arranging content.

Something similar to this - you can scroll/hover a cursor over the events and the timeline and it would be tied to the Map Tour:

Thank you!
