    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am looking to add a hillshade to a topographic map.&amp;nbsp; I found a tool at &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://freegeographytools.com/2009/3dem-website-is-gone-but-3dem-still-available-here"&gt;http://freegeographytools.com/2009/3dem-website-is-gone-but-3dem-still-available-here&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; that does almost exactly what I want.&amp;nbsp; However, I really do not want to get into downloading an external tool.&amp;nbsp; I would like to do this in ArcGIS.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have the hillshade 50% transparent over the topographic map.&amp;nbsp; It looks acceptable but not as nice as the map in the above link.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;How can I improve the appearance?&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
