    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm becoming fairly new to the @location allocation analytical tool and the only criteria I'm still trying to wrap my head around is the @impedence transformation. I understand the concept of the power function and have read several blogs stating the larger the power parameter you choose, the more willing customers will drive to your facility versus a smaller power.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I work in healthcare and from what I've been seeing, the power function is the optimal transformation since patients follow equity of service.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could someone give a good background of when to use each transformation, and when to change the power parameters (in case I was misinformed above).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
