    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I did not find equations for fuzzy membership functions in the ArcGIS tutorial/web pages. Where can they be seen? One should know them in order to be able to select the correct midpoint/spread parameters. Even in the Gaussian function case, it is not stated if the spread equals standard deviation of the gaussian curve!!!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- Johanna&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
