Hello,

I am using a polygon data set as my zone data. The zone field that I want to choose is not given as an option. The only two options that are offered have the attribute properties of being string fields. Are numeric fields not the proper format? Do I need to convert my numeric field to a string field?

I am using the spatial analyst tool. I have defined my extents. The zone field from my polygon data I want to use is not being offered as an option. My value raster data set is an integer and classified. I am sorry but I am still a little confused.

My polygon shapefile had more than 32,000 planning units I made sure the attribute field that I wanted to use was defined as a "Long Integer" and it worked. The attribute that I wanted to use for my zonal statistics was an option in the GUI.
