How to generate a column based on raster data?

Hi all,

I have found a way to generate depth values based on floodmap extents in raster format and associate that to a building shapefile. Attached, I have provided the "fake" building outlines with the corresponding depth values.

I need to find a way to create another column (text I would assume), which essentially takes the depth values and makes it correspond to the following scale:

0-0.5

0.5-1

1-1.5

1.5-2

2-2.5

2.5-3

The output will have something like this:

Column A: Buildings

Column B: Max actual Depths per Building

Column C: Scale

So, in the case of the example, the value of "0.1527" would correspond to the scale "0-0.5"

I hope this makes sense.
