      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;assuming that you have a point file with X,Y coordinates, then simply assign a Z value in the shapefiles table and perform an appropriate interpolation from within the Spatial Analyst assuming you have it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
