The combination will do the pan or zoom from 1 state to another, and set visibility for your other data.
Regards,
Jim

Hi,

I have a few layers - Country, State (subdivision of country), district (subdivision of state) layers open. The district layer is mapped to my data (ex sales) and have developed district gradation based on sales.

I want to select a particular state (ex state 1) and then export map showing data of district layers pertaining to the selected state only - i.e, the data of other districts falling in other states should not be visible; This is similar to the clip function in Mapinfo that I am looking at.

pls. suggest how to do this

thanks in advance
AR Augustine
