Hi,

I have calculated the area solar radiation quite often now and used the time configuration 'Multiple days in a year'. During the analysis of my solutions I wondered how the tool calculates the interval.
Let's say I chose jan 1st until 31st 2012 with the interval 7 days and 0.5 hours.
I have two ideas how the calculation works.

a) it calculates the solar radiation on the 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th jan every 0.5 hours and assumes that the radiation around these days is the same as on the calculated days.

or

b) it calculates the solar radiation from the 1st until the 7th, from the 8th until the 14th, from the 15th until 20th, from the 21st until the 27th and calculates a mean value from these intervals for all the days.

I hope you understand the problem and maybe one of you can help me.

Steffi
