    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you ran Point Density, then multiplied by the area of the neighborhood used, you'd get a count in the neighborhood for every cell in the output raster. This could then be transferred to your points using the Extract Values To Points tool.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;On the vector side, you can use the Point Distance tool followed by Frequency. Both of these vector tools, however, require an ArcGIS Advanced (aka ArcInfo) license.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi everybody,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have a point shapefile I wish to classify into density categories based on their proximity to one another.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;For example:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;[ATTACH=CONFIG]22130[/ATTACH]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Does anybody have an idea which tools would be best suited to performing this task?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is it possible to do with vector data, and not raster?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
