    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE class="jive-quote"&gt;I am trying to modify the (4) address locators that come with BA. &lt;BR /&gt;When I try and save my changes I get this message:&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Unable to update the address locator&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Insufficient permissions for writing file...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this a Windows7 problem or a BA problem?&lt;BR /&gt;How do i fix&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Aside: has anyone else run into these absurdly complex permissions issues on Windows7 which Msoft seem utterly unable to properly explain? Don't you just love Msoft's pathetic engineering?&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Robert,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;By design the locators with Business Analyst are protected against modification.&amp;nbsp; Can you let me know what type of modifications you were looking to make to the USA Geocoding Service locators beyond what is allowed selecting the Options button in Store/Customer Setup?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;~jason&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

These changes are not major, but they are convenient.&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You will need to navigate to the below folder path and right click on the USA Geocoding Service.loc and deseslect the read-only check box.&amp;nbsp; You should now be able to save your modifications.&amp;nbsp; I'd advise making a copy of the .loc just in case you would like to reset to the original.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Business Analyst\Data\USA Geocoding Service.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;~jason&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
