How to deploy latest version of a solution

Hello,

in our organization we use ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 and in portal solutions we don't have latest versions. The particular solution, I'm interested in, is Electric Utility Network Foundation. I see the current version is 3.1 (https://www.arcgis.com/apps/solutions/ ), but in our portal we have version 2.2 available.

Is it possible to update the solution to the latest version, or we need to update the Enterprise as well?

You have to upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise to the latest version get the latest versions of solutions in ArcGIS Solutions. Even then the ArcGIS Enterprise solutions may still be behind what is available through ArcGIS Online. Also, some solutions are available only through ArcGIS Online.

Thank you, I was hoping to avoid the upgrade of the ArcGIS Enterprise, but it now seems inevitable.
