topic GIS Request Management - Planned Effort in ArcGIS Solutions Questions

I've been setting up the GIS Request Management solution for our team, and it’s working really well for our needs. However, I’m encountering an issue with the effort bar graph on the activities dashboard. Whenever actual effort hours are added on the update page, the bar chart seems to compound the planned effort hours each time it’s submitted. I believe this happens because the original planned effort is being re-entered and summed in the dashboard.

Could I be using it incorrectly? Should the planned effort be removed when adding actual effort hours? Is there a way to keep the original planned effort displayed without it being added again if nothing else changes? Without clear understanding or training, staff may just add effort hours and leave everything else unchanged.
