Result button not visible in Portal for ArcGIS

I am trying to add webappbuilder in Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 from the content - add item - add application

the register button is not visible .

If my portal n webappbuilder is on same server the register button will not visible is it??

as per the research got the below info

The Register option is not available if the app is hosted on the same web server as the portal's web adaptor. For instructions on how to register these apps, see Esri technical article 44907.

should we run the webappbuilder in different machine than the Portal for ArcGIS hosted machine .

Hi Kafil,

I'm not quite sure why the Register button is not showing, as this bug was resolved in 10.4. However, if you perform the workaround in the Article, this will successfully register the application.

Can’t we run webappbuilder in same server as the portal is hosted . Is this causing the issue or something else . As per the article it says we can’t deploy in same machine .

That should not be causing the issue. I have web adaptor, Portal, and Web AppBuilder all on the same server and the register button appears.
