One of our most anticipated usecases is to display geolocated Images / Videos on the 2D map. We tried RasterLayer, KML etc. All those methods fall short and one would think that this is a super common usecase for many clients.

Ideally one would be able to load Images from Disk or Memory and swap out at runtime in order to for eg. do animations.

Thank you for the idea. This is a highly requested feature by lots of customers and we are aware of it. Currently we are trying to align this feature design with the MediaLayer from JS API. Stay tuned with our future updates!

Version 200.7 includes the ability to display georeference images on top of 2D maps. See the release notes here : https://developers.arcgis.com/net/release-notes/release-notes-for-200-7/#support-for-image-overlays-in-map-views
