Right now, only the JavaScript API allows the usage of a Streaming Layer (e.g. connecting to the GeoEvent Processor).

With the straight way to bring ArcGIS to mobile devices, this is a critical feature in order to use the Runtime's visualization capabilities!

We have a timeline. Finally.

It is planned for an update, in 2017.

Keep the votes coming. We need this desperately, as you'd all agree. It is important to us as well.

Greetings Jan!

Even though you were not on Santa's naughty list, Steam Layers support unfortunately did not make it into his sack of toys. There were a lot of goodies that went into update 2, I wish this could have been one of them.

I know this is extremely critical for many of you. It is a high priority. Stay tuned.

If you're using The .NET Runtime and can't wait for a built-in SreamLayer, there is a sample showing how it could be done on top of GraphicsOverlay here:

This is really great. Looking forward to it. We are getting more and more customers using iOS Runtime. They will be happy to use Stream Layer for Live Positioning.

I need support for Stream layers in ArcGIS Field Maps. I have 13.000 users waiting.

Sorry for the late update on this one, but we do now have support for Stream Layers in the Native SDKs, starting in 200.1. It's part of our larger real-time API called Dynamic Entities, which now also includes support for custom feeds.
