AreasandLengths Function versus GeometryEngine Area and Length

Can someone explain me the differences between the AreasandLengths function in WPF versus Area and Length. I get close but different answers using the two and comparing results. I'm setting the units to Foot.

Can you confirm which product or products you're using?

- ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF 10.2.x (retired)

- ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET 100.x (current)

We are using both. I'm replacing WPF with .NET. I realized now that I was using the Geodesic versions of Area and Lengths instead of the regular ones. I have a different question now. Does ESRI provide any unit conversion utilities based off of the WKID numbers?
