Hello,
I have built a map package with bright colors and we are able to see them brightly in ArcMap. The color appear the same in the table of content and the map.

Once I load the same map package in my app, I see that the colors that are have opacity to 1.0 appearing a litle less bright in the table of content (I am using esri:legend) and much less bright in the map. I need very bright color as I want to display raster data over a base map. Weather forecast style. Does anyone knows why the colors loose brightness.

Johnny

I found the answer to my problem.

The person that produced the map package set a 50% transparency in arcMap. When I use that map package the transparency was not there and instead the color were faded. My solution was to set 0% transparency initially and set the 50% in my Runtime app.

Regards
