It seems the only way to specify the outfields is to use the ServiceFeatureTable's populateFromService, but that updates the map which I don't want. I simply want to query for the data and then I will use it for a graph or something else, so if I can see the data for each event being printed in the console log, I would be happy and be able to proceed. Granted I'm new to ArcGIS and the Qt SDK, so it took me a little longer to understand the API.
