Export a Raster created by a Raster Function

I created a Raster by using a Raster Function and I can display it as a layer on my Map/Scene but I would like to be able to save it as a file to use with other products.

How can I export the Raster to a local file? (Preferably a .tif)

Hi @MReese. Exporting raster to file is not supported with the Maps SDKs.

Hi James - so if I create a raster using a raster function, I cannot save that created raster anywhere? I hope I am misunderstanding something.

Specifically I used the Band Arithmetic tool to calculate NDWI. I now want to export that NDWI to save as a tiff. However export raster failed with a nonspecific error message.

@JoannaWhittier I'm so sorry for the delayed response. You are correct, exporting rasters is not supported with the Maps SDKs. Can you specify which export raster tool or API you're referring to?
