When "loading shapefiles" feature will be available?

Greetings,

I need to load shape files as layers in a map through Qt. In several posts:

it's mentioned that this feature is not yet avaiable, soon in the next release. But these posts are 1 or 2 years ago. I wonder if there is a concrete date for these feature release or a website where I can monitor availability.

Hi Edgar,

We are working on supporting the reading and writing of shapefiles directly. This should be in an upcoming release, could be end of the year, or it could be mid next year. But it is going to be there.

The current plan is to release 2 more updates to the 100 version of the SDK. Direct read of local data sources, including shapefiles, will be released during those 2 updates.

I wish I could share more details, but that is where we are at the moment. We hear you. 🙂 It's on its way.
