    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried the Java Runtime on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;java runtime version: 100.3.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Java version: jdk&amp;nbsp; 8u181&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and encountered following problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see the attched MyMapApp.java&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;on 18.04, the whole OS hang, no any response&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;on 16.04, can show the map.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If ran another sample code OpenScenePortalItemSample.java&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A class="link-titled" href="https://developers.arcgis.com/java/latest/sample-code/open-scene-portal-item-.htm" title="https://developers.arcgis.com/java/latest/sample-code/open-scene-portal-item-.htm"&gt;Open Scene (Portal Item)—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java | ArcGIS for Developers&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I only tested on 16.04 ,&amp;nbsp; exception thrown (attached in the err1.txt)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Perhaps that I should switch to windows platform?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;At last, we found that this is because of some issues with dual graphic cards with Ubuntu. after remove one, the code example worked as expected. Thanks !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
