Is the Arcgis for Java compatible with Kotlin+JavaFX? If yes, do you have any tutorial on how to set up the build.gardle file? The most updated tutorial I found on this topic is in 2018, which is outdated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E66nzFzpiH4&t=2704s&ab_channel=ArcGIS

Using Kotlin for writing a JavaFX Runtime app is a perfectly viable solution and for Android developers it is becoming the norm. The uptake of Kotlin for JavaSE developers is however much slower.

In terms of the gradle build script, it won't be any different from what you would create for an application written in Java. Here is a tutorial which explains the process of writing a very basic mapping app:

There are also lots of sample applications you can use as a reference here:

One thing I could consider is adding a sample in Kotlin to the repository above.
