    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Greetings,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We are trying to connect to an ArcSDE Server which is using Postgres.&amp;nbsp; We are using ArcSDE version 10.2.&amp;nbsp; It didn't work.&amp;nbsp; We'd get a message about a missing sdejavautil library.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We've been told to move a bunch of DLLs into the bin folder of our ArcSDE installation (Win 7).&amp;nbsp; This appears to solve the problem.&amp;nbsp; However we are creating a web application which will be deploy to a Linux server.&amp;nbsp; Why does the Postgres version require native libraries while the Oracle version does not?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Is this something that will be addressed in the near future?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
