Help!

I am recently learning Eclipse and Java. I am also using the sample code provided by arcGIS Runtime for Java. I had several issues with the operators throwing errors. It stated the operators were not compatible with Java lower than 1.7. I am currently on 1.6. I will upgrade to see if it will correct the error. If anyone has experienced similar issues, please comment. THANKS! THANKS!
