      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there a "standard application" similar to the FLEX "Standard Viewer" that gives one a starting point for developing an application from scratch?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Something that already covers the basics and that can then be customized with what you need to add.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I haven't looked at them extensively, but so far the best I could find are the list of iOS Developer examples.&amp;nbsp; However, most of these seem to focus one one specific functionality and will not give all the other "basics".&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My hope is to get something with basic map functions and connection and layer management.&amp;nbsp; Something like the iPhone app currently available on the AppStore.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
