The WPF API has a ProxyURL property on several of the map layer types. For example, see here:
http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/wpf/apiref/ESRI.ArcGIS.Client~ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer_members.html

I couldn't find an equivalent property on any of the iOS SDK layers such as AGSTiledMapServiceLayer.

Is this not supported?

But those settings affect all apps on the device.

I'd be curious to know why you're using the proxy? Is it to handle custom authentication?
