SketchEditor for Add/edit feature

I am working on Add / Edit feature , i have issue using SketchEditor class in Andriod , I did same functionality in iOS ,its working good , But in android it runs like uneven behaviour , like unable to update button states while sketch editor enabled and in edit feature mode , feature gets cleared while click on Redo .

Have you had a chance to try the sketch editor sample on GitHub: Sketch Editor—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers ?

This sample does not have editing the existing geometries through sketch editor. Is sketch editor capable of doing it ! or we will have to use PolygonBuilder/PolylineBuilder instead sketch editor !
