Problems modifying Attribute Editor sample

I have been working with the Attribute Editor sample to modify it so that my published layers would show in the editor. I have changed the layer to different ESRI MapService and it appears to work OK, but when I put my MapService and Feature layer in the sample does not show the features on my Samsung s3 phone.

My Map Server is :
http://tiles.arcgis.com/tiles/SkzjdHywFbSXhoEX/arcgis/rest/services/Sidewalk4/MapServer
My feature service is:
http://services1.arcgis.com/SkzjdHywFbSXhoEX/arcgis/rest/services/Sidewalk4/FeatureServer/0.
The map and feature layers were created in ARCMap 10.1 and published to ARCGIS Online. They are shared with everybody.

From what I can tell it should be very straight forward to change the layers in the sample. Attached is the code that I have changed.

Any help would be appreciated!

PS I changed the ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer to an ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer and now it appears to work fine. I'm not sure of the implications of that change?
