Hello,

I am using esri API s to work with the map. On android 4.4 we have issues when zoom level goes beyond 12. I want to lock pinning so that user is not able to change the zoom level by pinning the map. If he is not allowed to pin, then map will not hang as Zoom level will not be changed.

Please suggest some function.

Hi,

Is this the same question as Disable pinning of Map on Android so that zoom level remains fixed?

You can implement your own MapOnTouchListener and set this on the MapView:

https://developers.arcgis.com/android/api-reference/reference/com/esri/android/map/MapView.html

You can override the onPinch... methods to get your desired behavior at specific scales.

You set this listener on the mapview using the View.setOnTouchListener() method.
