Hi!

I have a problem during running sample application (file->new project->ArcGIS samples for android). Uncatch exception is thrown after application started and view is initialized with com.esri.android.map.MapView component inside. I see in logs that java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: ("No configs match configSpec") is thrown. I use emulator to test my application with Android 2.2 or 2.3. Tell me what is wrong, please.

I have same problem and the answer is...

"this version of SDK do not support for emulator."

I deploy sample project to android phone and it works fine.

I have the same issue, if any solution to make it work on emulator please post here. It has been tough to troubleshoot the app when debugging it on phone.

Hi,

Im trying to follow the HelloMap tutorial given on the ESRI site for Android. I noticed that the HelloMap application will not run on the emulator so i tried running it on an android device 2.2.1 instead, but still it shows the same exception. Am i missing something?

Does the device need an active connection to the internet when testing such an application?
