How to add an Android application to My Content?

I've tried 2 ways:

Add Item > Add Application

Type: Mobile

Purpose: Ready To Use

SDK: Android

URL: ? I don't know what to put for this. It is an Android app on my computer. It does not have a url.

Add Item > From My computer

For File, I click Choose File and select the apk file of the app

I get the error:

This file type is not supported.

If not apk, then what?
