Bezier curve geometry editing in Runtime SDK for .Net 100.6

We are developing an application using Runtime SDK for .Net 100.6.

One of the core requirement is to draw and edit Bezier curve. While exploring on this functionality, we found that there is no support to display, draw and edit Bezier curve in ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .Net.

But the same functionality is available in ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap. It would be useful if this functionality is available in Runtime SDK.

Thanks for your feedback. Full support for true curves in ArcGIS Runtime is on the roadmap for a future release.

Can you provide more details about the editing experience you would like to build?

In Military Automation projects, there is a requirement to diagrammatically represent the deployment of infantry units on ground, showing the geographical extent of the deployment. This is best done by Bezier curves. The Bezier curve should have the following features/facilities:

It should comprise of at least five nodes, as shown in figure 1 below.
Each node should have two handles each; except those on the edges of the curve, which may have only one handle each, as shown with blue lines in figure 1 below.
By manipulating the length and orientation of the handles, it should be possible to change the shape of the curve. Examples of different shapes are given in figures 2, 3 and 4 below.
It should also be possible to rotate the curve and re-size the curve without changing the shape.

We need to know that how soon this can be made available. It is required ASAP.

Hi,

Thank you for the additional information / requirements. The capabilities required to support workflows such as this will likely be introduced over the course of multiple releases of ArcGIS as it is implemented up through the stack from data access and rendering to API types and SketchEditor support. There is currently no published timeline for this implementation.
