When will mobile geodatabase creation "from scratch" be supported?

I was watching the 2018 Dev Summit video ...

ArcGIS Runtime: Migrating from ArcGIS Engine - YouTube

At 33:40 Mike(?) says "we'll support creating geodatabase from scratch".

Does this mean I'll be able to create a mobile (sqlite) geodatabase without having to to use ArcGIS Server?

Any updates on when this capability will be included?

Hi,

Yes, I was referring to an enhancement to the API to allow the creation of new mobile geodatabases with tables, fields, etc and edit features/records in those tables.

This is still on the roadmap, but is currently not scheduled for a specific release.
