Dynamic Segmentation allows for current time only

The dynamic segmentation should have the option to make the output for just current time as opposed to all time only, then having to use a query to only show the current time in the output table.

@NicoleHanson1 Thanks for the idea. Dynamic segmentation is a key capability and can be very useful.

A few follow-up questions:

Is this idea for Overlay Events GP tool?
Is this idea for Dynamic Segmentation tool?
Or both?

The Overlay Events GP tool honors definition query on Input Route Features and Event Layers. So potentially, you can filter LRS data for current time and get the desired output. Have you tested this? If so, are there additional gaps with the output generated.

This is an idea for the Dynamic Segmentation tool. It currently only does all time, and then there's the extra steps of having to remember to do the query to only show current time.
