Project not updating/downloading after changes

I have a QuickCapture Project that I am trying to update from its default configuration after the initial creation. After what seems to be "X" number of standard changes, saves and updates the project fails to update or redownload on my devices. The updates include label changes, reordering buttons, changing a selection of buttons to the same color. Anyone else experiencing similar issues making project configuration changes?

HI Andrew,

Could you create a group in your ArcGIS Online organization and share the project with the user QCcreator.

I'll download the project and see if there is an issue with any element of the project JSON.

Another quick thing to try: Uninstall the app on your IPad (this will clear the internal database) - then re-install the app and download the project. Does this work?

Johnathan Hasthorpe‌ Thank you for the reply. I believe I shared it correctly from another AGOL account than this one. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling on both my iOS and Android devices. Also wanted to try with the beta version via APK and TestFlight but could not get it to download on either platform. Please let me know if you have any issues accessing the project.

Hi Andrew,

I have had a look at the JSON inside the project and this is invalid. Can you confirm whether you have made any changes to the project using the JSON editor in the web designer? If not it would be good to get onto a call to get a better understanding of your workflow.

All the updates I have made to a project so far are using the designer interface, not editing the JSON directly. I'd be glad to go over my workflow with you. Please send me your email when you get a chance.

The issue was that there were special characters in the button labels. The < > symbols were causing the project download to fail. We are aiming to have a fix for this issue in the next release (1.2).
