Hi Keith, we have seen this issue occur on low memory devices when multiple apps are running. Could you please check the available memory on your Android device?

If you don't think this is the issue, I'm happy to get on call and get some from you. Please email quickcapture@esri.com

One of our team has developed a very useful Quick Capture app which records Lines and/or Streaming Points along with Memos to record photos along the way. It is being used by a few people for 2 or 3 months.

I am encountering a problem where the line or streaming points I record stop for a 2 to 20 minutes then start recording again. The stoppages don't seem to coincide with me using the phone for other purposes - QC memos, photos, another field map, iNaturalist.

Other users of this app have not reported the problem so far.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A05s. The problems have occurred while the phone is in 4G range.

I'd be grateful for any feedback about what might be causing these gaps or other diagnostics I could use to track down the problem.

The attached screenshot shows a gaps of a few minutes in recording in streaming points mode with lines turned off and no memos being captured.
