As I was at the UC, I heard rumor that many other wanted to be able to use Quickcapture with the splitscreen setup (like it does if you use it on a tablet) on a phone screen. It does sound like they are planning on doing something for this hopefully soon, I do have a workaround that I have been using for a while on android.

If you turn on Developer Mode by entering into your settings and going to the build and tapping it 7 times, you can then enter the developer mode settings (a new category that will show up under your normal settings.

Head to the section under 'Drawing' and change the value for 'Smallest Width' to something like '611', it will force your phone to think it is a tablet and you can use split screen in landscape as if it were a tablet. There are some side effects, such as the lettering will be really small that you can remedy by adjusting lettering sizes and such in accessibility.

Just thought I would share in case anyone else can use this.
