idea Save/post line object regulary, not only when its finished/completed. in ArcGIS QuickCapture Ideas

We have put together a concept for snow removal where we use Quick Capture to register work performed in the field. We use line objects to document the work performed (eg snow removal). The challenge is that work is only stored in the database when the activities end. In this way, the headquarters cannot see that work is in progress in the field, only completed work. If the user is going to do a job that extends far into time, this is a big challenge. What if the work (line object) is saved/posted regularly, e.g. after every 100 or 500 meters, or every 5-10 minutes? In this way, other resources will see that work is in progress, even if it has not been completed.
