Map tool opening from ribbon

I have created a custom map tool and have added to Modify Features. I have also added the same tool in the ribbon as well. But the difference that is coming if tool opened from Modify Features then it has a back button whereas same back button is not there when opened from ribbon.

How can back button be visible for the map tool if opened from a place other than Modify Features?

If that's the button you're referring to, then there is no way to such a function from your 'Ribbon Button Click', because it's a navigation button that simply takes you back to the previous 'page' (or dockpane in our case). With a 'Ribbon Button Click' there is no page to navigate back to, but with your selection from the 'Modify Feature' dockpane there is a page to get back to:
