I'm going to think about this overnight but I have a situation were I have a map event being fired and being handled by an AddIn that actually is NOT being used but because it's subscribed to a map event at initialization it's handling the event. Almost like someone butting into a private conversation that they're not a part of... ;-).... I was thinking about looking at which Dockpane was actually active and if that dockpane isn't active then just ignore the event... But maybe a better solution is to have that AddIn only subscribe to that event when it's appropriate and then unsubscribe otherwise. Thoughts?

To subscribe or unsubscribe, I'd probably want to do that when that AddIn's Menu has been selected and it's Buttons are visible. What event would that be?
