topic How to develop application using ArcGIS Pro SDK which runs as background service. in ArcGIS Pro SDK Questions

How can we develop an application using ArcGIS Pro SDK which runs as an service in the background rather than using it like a ArcGIS Pro Add-In which requires ArcGIS Pro to be opened always. The application will do simple operations like connecting underlying database (utility network model) and read feature class information. I tried creating WCF and SOE applications but these throw exceptions when accessing feature class (utility network model) which says "Unable to instantiate class for xml schema type: UtilityNetworkMembership". May be because ArcGIS Pro is not open in that case. It works fine while in case of Add-In. Need guidance how to proceed with this.
