Win11 on Pro 3.4

Hi,

I'm trying to clone (on a relatively new machine) the python envionment using the clone button in package manager. It gets along quite far in the process then gives out an error:
<LI-CODE lang="markup">ERROR conda.core.link:_execute(950): An error occurred while installing package 'esri::arcpy-base-3.4-py311_55347'.</LI-CODE>

Can anyone help? Is this a permissions issue perhaps, as we are newly working under a more restrictive environment where we can't install software when and where we want?

I haven't installed conda or have another Python envionemnt installed. Only the default one by Pro 3.4 and ArcMap 10.5 (Python 2.7).

If you are following this

Clone an environment—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

and it doesn't work and your Pro is installed locally on your machine (and not some network thing),

I would contact your tech people or try the conda route

Can you get IT to provide with a test machine where you have more access to install software and see if that fixes your issue? This would provide ammunition to at least give you more access to install software at least temporarily when needing to clone your python environment.
