I have geometries with CIM symbols that I would like to display to a user. I looked into MapControl class and while it supports graphics overlays, it does require to have an existing map in the project, or to create a new map that is instantly gets added to the project. Also, less important but nice to have, I was not able to subscribe to user interaction events, i.e. on mouse click.
