    <description>&lt;P&gt;You can't modify the existing basemaps with options but you can use the &lt;A href="https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/developers/mapping/design-custom-basemaps-with-the-new-arcgis-vector-tile-style-editor" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Vector Tile Style Editor&lt;/A&gt; to take one of those existing basemaps and tweak them, and *then* use the tweaked version as your basemap.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm working on a few large maps. They are large enough that the Esri grey basemap reference layer road labels are too small to read. I wish there was a way for everything to scale up with the map. Or for the user to specify the size.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The workarounds I want to avoid are manually labeling, using street data and labeling engine, and going to illustrator to scale up from there. Even in illustrator, you cannot really scale up since when you scale it displaces the road labels.. then you also have to recreate the halo outlines. (much more tedious than in pro)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
