For the record showing an image to help explain a problem is a very good idea (and to be encouraged) but showing a redacted image is utterly pointless as the problem may very well be in the redacted part. If you are going to approach the user community for their help and not prepared to share a screen shot/sample of the data then you need to be providing a minimum reproducible example, otherwise its not going to get the attention you wish for.

Hi,

I have a many-to-many relationship between a standalone table and a feature class.

I enabled the "Automatically select related data" option in the Properties of both layers, following this procedure.

Unfortunately, when I select a record in the standalone table, the related features in the layer are not selected. Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

If there isn't a match then that could be the reason.

Check the message propagation of the relationship class.

I'm not positive that it works backwards. I asked about this a few years ago.

There's also this Idea Relate in both directions - Esri Community

Super annoying, unfortunately

Actually if you pull up the attributes rather than the tables themselves then you will see the related records, both forward and backward.
