      <title>First window will not open map, have to open two to use ArcGIS Pro</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been running into an issue when opening ArcGIS Pro for the past few months and have found no solution. Every time I open a map (doesn't matter what it is) it will remain on the "Loading Map..." screen until I force quit the program. As a work around, I have opened a second window of Pro and have had no issues with being able to access and edit maps from there. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall ArcGIS Pro as well as having kept the software up-to-date, but nothing has worked thus far. Any insight is greatly appreciated!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In addition to Dan's recommendations, a few other items to consider are:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Are you using a docking station for your computer?&amp;nbsp; It's possible that it's working with an external graphics card docked in the system.&amp;nbsp; Remove the external graphics card from the equation and use the inbuilt graphics card in your PC.&lt;BR /&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Are the prerequisite MS drivers current/installed?&amp;nbsp; One support case that showed similar issues had outdated drivers.&amp;nbsp; Updating them to the recommended drivers as referenced &lt;A href="https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/data-management/guide-to-connecting-to-excel-files-in-arcgis-pro" target="_self"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; fixed the issue.&lt;BR /&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Run the program - "&lt;A href="https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/client-app?refid=1256&amp;amp;appkey=6D681CD0-BA6C-4B6B-9A82-639759CFD094&amp;amp;requirementsetid=23091" target="_self"&gt;can your computer run ArcGIS Pro 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5?&lt;/A&gt;"&amp;nbsp; Sometimes it's a hardware issue.&lt;BR /&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes disabling the integrated graphics card (the Intel one) via Device Manager -&amp;gt; Display Adapters fixes the issue as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
