    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We’ve recently decided to upgrade our system from ArcGIS to ArcGIS Pro, and I’m currently in the process of transitioning. The more I work with ArcGIS Pro, the more I appreciate its capabilities—my sincere thanks to the development team for creating such a powerful tool.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At GfK Geomarketing, we frequently work with large datasets and make extensive use of overlay tools. I have a question regarding the tiling process within these tools:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When a feature (such as a polygon or line) crosses a tile boundary, it is split into parts for processing and then reassembled. During this process, &lt;STRONG&gt;are new vertices introduced at the points where the feature is cut&lt;/STRONG&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’d appreciate any clarification you can provide.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
